THICI believes in the importance of educating one's children, and THICI saw that children at the mountainous barangay will have to travel at a distance just to continue their education. That's why the management decided to build classrooms for these children. Last May 2005, Tsuneishi Heavy Industries (Cebu), Inc. together with the Municipality of Balamban and the Department of Education formally enaugurated the newly constructed school building for Buanoy National High School - Lamesa Extension. The People of Barangay Lamesa were so happy that their barangay was chosen to be the recipient of the donated school building. Present during the ceremony were Mayor Alex Binghay and its councilors, THI management, the principal of Buanoy National High School-Lamesa Extension, teachers, students and residents of Barangay Lamesa. The event was a great success!
