"Industries can co-exist with nature and environment". This has been THICI motto, which frequently uphold and lived by many management and workers.

Planting fruit bearing trees, timber, flowering and forest trees have become a leisure/past time for THICI employees during weekends in a particular months(rainy sesons) of the year after days work. Approximately 10,500 trees since August 1998 have been planted in strategic places like mountain slopes, hillsides and riverbanks in order to prevent denudation, landslides and heavy floods damaging agricultural lands and properties.

There's more into planting trees. It is also creating new habitat for Philippine native wildlife that are bound for extinction.
