Our marine resources plays a very important part in our everyday life. It is one of the greatest source for food by everyone and a way of life for most of the dwellers in the community.

Various marine species abound in the coastal waters near THICI vicinity - thus the "Marine Life Enhancements Program" was undertaken in order to preserve and enhance the marine ecosystem.

Daily fish feeding is conducted at the pier area and floating docks for the above purpose.
