The safety of workers and its properties is a top priority
of management. It is the policy of the Company to provide and
maintain safe and healthy working conditions for all its workers
and subcontractors. In keeping with this policy , all mebers
of the Mangement, supervision and employees are reminded that
safety must take equal importance with cost and production,
and they have moral and legal responsibilities for the safety
and health of all member of the organization.
THICI established a Safety Program in order to provide a safe
and healthful work environment that is free from recognized
hazards and to maintain its facilities and equipment at maximum
safe operating standards. The Safety and Environmental Management
Department (SEMD) is tasked to assist Management in the implementation
of the Safety Program as well as the company's safety rules
and regulations.
The Safety Committee has aslo been established to act as the
policy-making group in all matters pertaining to safety and
health. The committee meets on a regular monthly basis to discuss
the company's safety performance and tackless safety and health
related issues.
In June 10 2002, THICI achieved a total of 5 Million manhours
without LTA (Lost Time Accident), which is a new safety record
for THICI.
Safety Trainings
THICI through its Safety and Environmental Management Deparment
(SEMD) conducts safety trainings to company and subcontractors'
employees with a principle tha "when people are properly
trained to do their jobs, they will do them safely.

e.) Accident Investigation and Reporting

i.) Safe Forklift Operation Seminar
j.) Safe Skymaster Operation Seminar
THICI was granted by DENR (Department of Environment and Natural
Resources) an Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC-95C-07CE-039)
on March 9, 1995.
Tsuneishi is also a member of the Multi-Partite Monitoring Team
composed of all locators, NGO, local government units, and DENR
whose principal task is to monitor provisions of its Environmental
Compliance Certificate.
