THICI is now an ISO 14001 Registered Company!

Before the year 2003 ends, THICI arrives at another milestone in its shipbuilding and ship repair operation. On November 21, 2003 THICI obtained certification and registration for ISO 14001 (1996 Standards) by Nippon Kaiji Kyokai.

Environmental Management System is one vital tool applied by the company to be globally competitive and pursue certain established ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS in the operation. This is done to continuously improve quality and produce world-class products without jeopardizing the environment and its ecological balance - including mankind.
